25 years behind a camera has taught me what I most enjoy photographing. Children and dogs.
The Dogs They Grow Up With is a year-long photography project exploring the relationship between children and the dogs who share their childhood. I’ll be photographing them in different places, through changing seasons and in all the various stages of growing up, building a collection of portraits that will eventually come together in an online exhibition and, perhaps, a small book.
Your session is on us
We’re inviting you to help create this year long portrait project.
In return for allowing us to use a selection of images from your photoshoot as part of the project, your 45 minute portrait session is complimentary - no charge, it’s on us.
Afterwards you’ll see your finished photographs in a private online gallery. There is no obligation to buy.

Every photography is fully edited by me, with prints and frames being made in-house so I’m able to look after the photograph from camera to finished piece

Muddy paws, quiet cuddles, wild adventures and endless games of tug of war - these are the moments to hold on to. We create natural portraits of the everyday fun between dogs and the children who love them.
The project is about photographing that relationship while they’re still right in the middle of it.

The project will continue for 12 months, photographing children through the summer, autumn, winter & spring.
Selected portraits will eventually come together on an online exhibition and, we hope, a small printed book documenting the project.
We’re inviting families to take part in a year-long portrait project. In return for allowing us to use a small selection of your images from the shoot for our own marketing purposes and socials your session will be complimentary - no session fees, normally starting at £95

Your session
Enjoy a relaxed 30 minute portrait in a studio setting or outdoors. Photo shoots will be held on set dates throughout the year

View your gallery
See your collection of photographs from the day in an online gallery within a few days of the photoshoot.
