New - Children’s Mini Studio Sessions

After years photographing children outdoors, I wanted to create something quieter — portraits that feel simple, natural, and full of character.

These sessions focus on simplicity: a quiet studio, soft light, and time for children to just be themselves.

What to expect

  • 30–45 minute session — calm, unhurried, child-led.

  • Simple, fine art setup — black & white, timeless, expressive.

  • 5 digital images included as part of the package

  • Optional extras — framed prints, wall art and collections available.

 We hold various mini-shoot days across the year. Register your interest we’ll keep you informed of shoot dates and locations as these will be subject to demand.

Before your shoot

Once you have booked your session, we will send you a short pre-shoot guide with everything you need to know, from location and parking, what to wear and how to view and purchase your images.

During the session

Children don’t have long attention spans, so we try and keep sessions relatively short, however there will be no rush. We’ll keep things fun and playful. Children are great mimickers, so expect some photographer animated demonstrations to show them what to do.

Florie – photography style

Simple, fine art photography in black & white. No fuss, flounce, costumes or gimmicks. The results are timeless expressive portraits to cherish for years to come.

Cost

Florie Studio Sessions — £135 for up to 4 children. You will receive 5 fully edited digital files from the session.

Your session fee covers:

  • Pre-shoot guide

  • A fun filled photo-shoot typically 30- 45 minutes.

  • An online gallery to view your images at home

  • Additional prints, frames & digital images available to buy

If you allow us to use your children’s photographs in our marketing (exhibitions, brochures, website & social media) we will discount your session by 25% to £99. Please note we only display your child’s photo. Naturally, no names or personal data will be used.
